Magical & Romantic Wedding
Your wedding day is something you have in your head as a girl for so long and getting to see it come to life is such a beautiful thing. Our bride, Bailey, had a vision for her day. We asked her to describe the vibe for her wedding in 5 words and she said, timeless, simple, classic, romantic and magical. And what a magical day it was!
Elegant & Minimal Decor
The Estate at River Run is a beautiful venue located right here in Virginia, overlooking the James River. Something Bailey loves about the venue is that they “were able to keep the decorations to a minimum and simple because each room at the estate was so different.” There isn’t a dull spot in the state, every room has something of interest.
An “Instagram Worthy” Wedding
The vibe of the estate was just what she was looking for! The beauty and decor truly spoke to their vision. Bailey loved that everything was at one location, from the morning of to the after party! Getting ready at the estate looked like a dream. Everything was “very instagram worthy” according to Bailey and we agree!
Wedding Dress with Two-looks in One
Bailey says “ I knew I wanted to look at Annalise first when it came to dress shopping.” With the vibe of her wedding she said we came highly recommended. “My experience was unforgettable!” She tried on 8 beautiful dresses but hadn’t had that feeling yet, but she had come at the perfect time because we had just gotten a new dress that wasn’t even on the floor yet!
“ The second I put the dress on it was an instant feeling. This dress was exactly what I was looking for and MADE for this wedding. My dress was “Newport” by Anne Barge with a detachable train which gave me that second look I wanted. Fit me like a GLOVE. To this day people are asking me who designed my dress. It truly was a fairytale.” She got the best of both worlds with this stunning gown, the cool button detail in the back to attach the train and the sleek look of the fitted dress for the reception!
Ready for the After Party
Not only was her dress two in one, but she also got her after party dress with us! She wore Frankie but Untamed Petals After Party collection. This dress was just perfect for her, keeping the straight neckline from her dress but in a mini with a super cute bow on the back. She was ready to party!!
Speaking of partying, Bailey’s ‘Most Worth the Splurge’ vendor was their entertainment! She says they truly set the vibe for the evening. “They were a DJ and a singer tied into one. The singer would change it up and play on his keyboard too! Get the best of both worlds”
Advice for Future Brides
As always, we asked Bailey to pass along some advice from one bride to another. She said “It is so true when people say it goes by way too fast. Pencil in at least 30 min for you and your partner to debrief whether its eating your food alone during cocktail hour or sneaking off while your guests are partying just to take a second and take everything in- look at all the decorations, whatever the case may be just take time for just you 2 because it goes by way to fast.”
