Today is Father’s Day, a day to celebrate the father figure(s) in your life that lead well and love hard! While we don’t usually get to see too many dads during dress shopping appointments, we can almost always count on seeing them in wedding photos! Chelsea ~ Her dad married her and her now husband so that was a tough memory to beat… but Bruno was a close second!
“My favorite reception day memory with my dad was definitely the father-daughter dance! Because he wasn’t at our Alaska elopement, I know we were both extra looking forward to the dance. It was the sweetest few minutes and then he immediately started dancing to Bruno Mars and he stayed on the dance floor until midnight.”
Katherine ~ Her dad managed to take her wedding jitters away by snapping a pic before walking her down the aisle!
“My favorite memory from my wedding day with my dad was probably right before we walked down the aisle. It definitely is a nerve-wracking moment but he created a good distraction by pulling out his phone and asking to take a photo of me right before we headed down the aisle. It made me laugh and calmed my nerves, the whole day was beautiful and even better than we expected but that’s one little moment that I’ll remember forever.”
