The wedding of Annalise Bride Suzanne and Jesse was a dreamy and colorful affair. Pinterest worthy if you ask me! The absolute most magical and perfect day with all of their loved ones!
Wedding at Her Family Home
Suzanne and Jesse met the summer of 2016 through a mutual friend at a game night hosted by Suzanne at her grandmother’s house. It was only fitting that this be the place they have their wedding. Having a low-key front yard wedding was the perfect setting for them! They even made a whole weekend out of the celebration, “the entire event was perfect.”
Keeping Your Loved Ones Close
Suzanne kept her wedding pretty intimate, she is extremely close with her extended family and was so grateful for those who could be there but for those who couldn’t she did something special. She still wanted to have those she’d lost close by on her big day so she had her veil embroidered with their names. “I wanted them to be with me throughout the whole process and my walk down the aisle- I found a seller on Etsy, EAW Bridal Accessories, who provided the veil and embroidered their names for me, and it was perfect.”
Finding The Perfect Dress
When it came time for the dress Suzanne didn’t have a particular look in mind. “ I just wanted to find something that my grandkids could pull out of my closet and think it was timeless and beautiful and hope they love it as much as I do.” Naomi by Blue Willow by Anne Barge is the perfect mix of timeless and modern, with it’s warm ivory color and statuesque draping. “I couldn’t imagine finding anything I felt more comfortable and beautiful in. It was love at first fitting!” Annalise was her one and only stop!
The Second Look of Our Dreams
Second dresses are becoming more and more popular each year! This year we are starting to see some colorful second looks and we are so here for it. “I thought about a short white dress, but I saw that dress on Instagram and fell in love- what better day to wear it than my wedding day! I love color, so it felt very me!” This dress was the perfect way to spice up her look! The dress is from Milla and we are so in love.
Advice for Future Brides
Although Suzanne doesn’t regret anything about her wedding day, “Social media can be your best friend and worst enemy! It’s great for inspiration, but can also make you doubt the choices you’ve made.” Social media can be a great tool for wedding planning but we all know it can be overwhelming with all of the information out there! Suzanne gives some great advise to future brides. “Once you have purchased your dress or picked flowers, stop searching! Block the key words on Instagram or whichever social media you’re checking. You made the right decision, don’t doubt yourself!”
