#AnnaliseRealBride Mandy said the vibe for her wedding was “classic-boho, personal, simple, loving and togetherness”, and this is exactly what her wedding was.
Mandy and Andre had so many special touches throughout the night. Mandy said she “walked down the aisle to the singer I’ve always wanted to and the song I’ve thought about using since 2013, it was perfect and I soaked in the moment completely”.
Unique Ways to Exchange Wedding Bands
Their wedding bands were a surprise so of course Andre, played a Ring Pop joke at first, but as soon as he pulled out the real ring she was “giddy when he put it on my finger”.
It was a good laugh and something that truly showed them as a couple. “Our vows were so us, romantic and funny and quirky.” Of course they had to keep these vibes going into the reception which did not disappoint.
Romantic Wedding Reception With Ice Cream Truck
They had a Gelati Celesti Ice Cream Truck instead of cake which is so perfect for a summer wedding! Along with fun desserts they had another special guest… their adorable Pomeranian, Monster.
He just came for the reception and to take a few cute pictures. “He was just happy and we loved that he got to be there with us for a little while.”

Mandy was surprised by how easy wedding dress shopping was, “because I thought I was going to have a hard time deciding”.
She had always known what she was going for when it came to her dress. “I’ve always wanted something other than ivory, stylish, a little sexy, but still looked like a traditional wedding dress.” Her dress was the embodiment of this description!

During her appointment she said “Kennedy was so sweet and fun and straight forward, she interacted with my bride tribe to hear them out, but still stayed focused on me. She was clear on what I was looking for. The experience was so easy which surprised me because I thought I was going to have a hard time deciding.”
“I loved everything about the ‘Sirena’ by Watters and once she showed me the option in blush I knew it was the one! She could only show me the color online, but I trusted Kennedy’s eye”. And it was totally the right call.
Custom Sara Gabriel Bridal Veil With Beading
To complete her look, Mandy said a splurge that was worth it to her was the veil.
“I heard a lot of people and on blogs talk about getting a cheap veil and saving a little there because it looks the same anyway. But I beg to differ.”
She had no idea it was possible to customize a bridal veil. We worked together to make her veil compliment her and her dress perfectly!
She went with a long veil with minimal beading and added a blusher for a little extra volume and drama. “A plain veil just would not have done the dress or my style justice.”
Advice for Brides Currently Planning A Wedding
One thing she regrets from the day is not starting getting ready sooner! “We ran out of time and I didn’t get the bridal photos and some of the couple photos I wanted to. It ended up raining during cocktail hour so we didn’t have time to make them up.”
Some advice for future brides is “make sure you do exactly what you want so you regret nothing. Make sure your memories are nothing but happiness”.
Remember that this day is about you and your significant other, “you and your spouse are going to be the only two who really will think about this day for years to come”.
She said that you have to “find caring ways to say no if it’s not what you want” because, “even the things that were outside of what my parents wanted they still ended up loving, for me!”

It’s so important to have the perfectly balanced bridal party!
“The one who is 100% honest, the one who likes to have fun, the one who understands you best, the one who is caring, etc.”
This makes the wedding planning and wedding day run so smoothly and makes the day enjoyable for everyone. So make sure that you “have good people around you that fill you up”.
